撫寧污水處理廠是《中國城鎮污水處理及再生設施建設‘十一五’規劃》中的重點項目。該項目建設規模為5萬噸/日。處理后的污水對撫寧縣人造河，特別對秦皇島海灣的污染大大降低，環境功能得到好轉。受到秦皇島市、縣兩級政府的表揚。
Funing Sewage Treatment Plant is the key project in "China's urban sewage treatment and recycling facilities construction in the 11th Five-Year planning”.
